Today is my bride’s birthday.  I will not reveal her age because she has been holding at 21 for 15 years now.  I think this may be the first birthday that I haven’t celebrated with her since we have been married.  She is having a “girls’ weekend” with some of our friends from high school.  She definitely deserves it and honestly I need some daddy time with the kids anyway.  I just asked that she not get arrested while she is away.  Those of you that know my bride, she is one fiesty chica.  My college roommate did not call her Pit for nothing. 

I think that is why I love her so much.  She has an opinion and a viewpoint on life that is unwavering unless you prove her different.  She is gonna protect her territory no matter what…mama ain’t gonna let nobody mess with her younguns or her man.  Don’t get on her bad side…

She is the best friend I have and I can’t thank God enough for her and what she means to our family.  Happy Birthday Tree!  Big Daddy misses you!!
